Who I Am

I just realized that I haven’t really explained much about myself… like the practical details of what year I am in at Covenant College, what some of my interests are, what my major is, who my family is, where I grew up… all those interesting facts that help put a name to a face.

So who am I? Well, here are a few interesting facts about me… (and if I forgot anything out, here is where you can ask me any question about myself, and i’ll try to answer - within reason).

Class Year …… I’ll graduate from Covenant in May of 2010.

Hometown …… Knoxville, TN was where I was born. But I lived in Sheffield, England the longest. I also lived in Montelimar, France… and Philadelphia, PN and Franklin, TN.

Major …… I am currently a Business major, hoping to go down the road towards receiving a concentration in accounting. If everything goes according to plan, i’ll graduate Covenant and start a career as a CPA, and maybe follow in my brother’s footsteps. Lord-willing…

Interests …… If there was anything I could do when not in school or work, I would grab my camera and go take pictures of anything and everything. Photography is huge part of who I am. I also love mosts sports - volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, swimming, ice skating, and pretty much anything that keeps me active. I love to travel… and i’ve been to some 20 or 25 different countries in my lifetime.

Favorite Country …… of all the countries I have visited, I loved Greece the most. It was beautiful. And not many cities in the world beat the great city of Athens. Turkey, France, England, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands - these are a few others that I have loved stepping foot into.

Favorite Place on Campus …… on any random day, if there was one place that I go more often than most to just get away and think, it would have to be the overlook below Carter Hall. It overlooks Chattanooga, and at night the stars are amazing. But if I have time, I love to go on a walk down to Jackson Pond. Some of my most beautiful memories with friends were born there…

Favorite Place on Lookout …… Cloudland Canyon without a doubt. There is nothing, in my humble opinion, that beats spending a Sunday afternoon in the beauty and peacefulness of Cloudland. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Church …… I am currently attending New City Fellowship Church. I have plans to become a member sometime soon. It’s down in Chattanooga.

Family …… well, I already wrote about them under “My Family.” But here’s another picture of me and a couple of my brothers. They’re my “forever friends” as my mom once said.
