Rock City Christmas Lights

Written by Philip Codington on December 7th, 2008

Rock City is so beautiful right now. They have the whole place decorated in Christmas lights, and it looks amazing. I went with a couple other friends on Friday night. We left around 8:00 p.m. and spent three hours walking around, looking at the beautiful lights, enjoying hot chocolate, and spending time together. You can see the white deer that Rock City has as well – nevermind the caves, tunnels, and rock formations that Rock City is known for. It’s definitely one of the more famous attractions of Lookout Mountain, and it is definitely worth going to. The Rock City Starbucks is right across the road too…

Hi, I’m on staff at Silverdale Baptist Church in Chattanooga and came across this picture as I was looking for a cover picture for our church magazine. I would love to talk with you about using it if you’re interested. hbateman@silverdalebc.com. Thanks!

  9. I only just came across these comments, and I regret that I didn’t make it more clear in my post. I didn’t take the picture and can’t take any credit for it – I found the picture on a photo website some time ago. I was unable to find the name of the person who took the photo and failed in properly disclosing that. Having said that, it is a beautiful picture – for which I take no credit.

  10. The photo is fantastic!
