Burned Out …Isaiah 40

I’m just going to be honest… I’m really burned out. I’m ready to be done with school for a while, and I’m ready to go home and see my family.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Do you not know?
       Have you not heard?
       The LORD is the everlasting God,
       the Creator of the ends of the earth.
       He will not grow tired or weary,
       and his understanding no one can fathom.

 He gives strength to the weary
       and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
       and young men stumble and fall;

But those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength
.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
       they will run and not grow weary,
       they will walk and not be faint.

  1. Not gonna lie, this passage always makes me think of the Remember the Titans scene where the football players unite by singing these words… I get my giggles out, and then realize how truly powerful (and especially meaningful in our long college days) this passage of scripture really is. I’m glad you’re finding it an encouragement, and you will remain in my prayers… You’ll be at the ranch before you know it!
