Quotes on Trust

Trust is a really hard thing for me. I don’t trust people readily… in particular when it comes to people that want to get close to my family or friends. I guess you could say that’s me being protective. I want to write more about trust… I’m still thinking a lot about what I really think about it. For now, I just wanted to leave you with a few good quotes that I thought were insightful.

“Trust is like a vase… once it’s broken, though you can fix it, the vase will never be same again.”

“The key is to get to know people and trust them to be who they are. Instead, we trust people to be who we want them to be - and when they’re not, we cry.”

Bets and Carrie

“Without trust, words become the hollow sound of a wooden gong. With trust, words become life itself.

”To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.”
