Cold Winter Day

I’m so tired of the cold. I’m trying not to be frustrated at the chance of snow this weekend. It always seems to come at the “best” time… and yes, I’m being sarcastic. It’s frustrating…

I’ve been at Julie and Nick’s place all day. Julie and I have been diligently typing away on our laptops - both of us trying to put some thoughts down on paper for various essays we have to write. My writer’s block eased up a little, and I was able to churn about four pages out this morning… obviously with a little help of some good chill music.

Nick comes back from teaching in another hour or so. We’re going to head down to Franklin, check out a few thrift stores, go to the Franklin Gun Shop and look at a few 22 rifles, and then head home. It’s been a pretty relaxed day.

  1. 4 pages! Good for you. I’m sure the Sheffield memories have been coming back slowly but surely. And the snow is fine by me as long as we can get back… but I’m not really looking forward to a frosty windshield, cracked windows, and a puddle at our feet ;) Let’s hope God doesn’t decide to dump the heavens on us Sunday night.
