I just did something that I have never done before… I bought my first ever pair of cowboy boots. You all know I’m heading out to Turpin Meadow Ranch out in the Grand Tetons of Wyoming to work with horses for a summer. Well, I was told from a very reliable source that I didn’t want to look like a tourist while I was out there… so I was looking for a good pair of leather boots — something that would just work well with riding and working with horses a lot.

I checked out ebay and found a pair going for $9.99.. my size, used, leather and in good condition, and CHEAP. There was an hour left on them, so I put in a bid and I just won — $10.50. Check out the nice little picture I added for your convenience. I know, I’m a nerd… but hey, this is exciting. I have my plane ticket AND a pair of cowboy boots. There’s no turning back now.
