It’s been a month as of this morning that I’ve been sick… three weeks of which I haven’t been able to talk or sing. It’s been a struggle for me to be at peace with where God has me… It’s been a hard time for me as far as searching where God is leading me in certain relationships and friendships. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster from day to day. I thank God for the family and close friends that He’s given me to encourage and uplift me.

Marianna, me, and Mom

I was reading through some of the Psalms, and Psalm 28:6-8 related to what I’ve been going through and how God is a god who saves and who I can put my trust.

Praise be to the LORD,
       for he has heard my cry for mercy.

The LORD is my strength and my shield;
       my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
       My heart leaps for joy
       and I will give thanks to him in song.

The LORD is the strength of his people,
       a fortress of salvation for his anointed one

On the flip side, I’m home now. It’s good to have a change of scenery and have the chance to take a break from life at school.
