Commit Your Way

It’s almost midnight… and I find myself checking emails and facebook once again before heading to bed. I have a daily verse that pops up on my facebook - a new one for each day. Today’s was Psalm 37:5-6…

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

I have been non-committal, so to speak. The last few days and weeks, I have hesitated so often in simply committing my way and my daily walk to Him. Things have been hard - classes are busy, relationships are hard, and it’s been an emotional roller-coaster from day to day… and yet, I have still hesitated in giving my way to Him. This verse was a beautiful reminder of the fruits that grow from trusting in the Father. Unless we commit our ways to Him, we will be restless, emotionally drained, and stressed.

  3. Hey, my name is Bethany and Lord willing I will be transferring to Covenant next fall as a junior. I just want you to know that your blogs have been such an encouragement to me this year and many times they have voiced exactly my own thoughts and feelings. Psalm 37:4-6 is one of my favorite bible verses!
