It’s almost midnight… and I find myself checking emails and facebook once again before heading to bed. I have a daily verse that pops up on my facebook – a new one for each day. Today’s was Psalm 37:5-6…  

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

I have been non-committal, so to speak. The last few days and weeks, I have hesitated so often in simply committing my way and my daily walk to Him. Things have been hard – classes are busy, relationships are hard, and it’s been an emotional roller-coaster from day to day… and yet, I have still hesitated in giving my way to Him. This verse was a beautiful reminder of the fruits that grow from trusting in the Father. Unless we commit our ways to Him, we will be restless, emotionally drained, and stressed.
