Restless
I’m restless. My first class doesn’t start until 2:30 this afternoon, and I have finished all the other preparations that had to be done before classes started. I’m ready to get things rolling… It’s been really different being back at school. Every semester changes so much - people change, you change, classes change. It feels so different, and I’m still trying to figure out exactly why.
I read a really good passage from Matthew 10:26-31 this morning - it was Jesus commanding us not to fear…
“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
I don’t understand everything God is doing in my life right now, but I trust that He is in control and doing it for a specific purpose that I will know in His perfect timing. Don’t forget that.
