Venison
There is nothing like preparing some fresh venison with mesquite marinade and adding in a few chopped up onions and garlic cloves. Not to mention doing all of the above while smelling fresh pumpkin and chocolate-pecan pies coming out of the oven.
I love Thanksgiving…

amen to that!! lindsey’s parents have a sweet coffee machine so we’ve had 2 cups of pumpkin spice latte–just today :)

Thanksgiving truly does bring out the family traditions. I recently got accepted to Covenant and have been reading the student profiles and blogs to see what life is like at Covenant. Preview weekend was amazing with the movie on the green and this past weekend when I visited to pray about my college decision on the overlook, Covenant is an awesome place. Thank you for your insight about your experiences there at Covenant. All of the blogs I have read have made me realize that people there are truly strong in their faith, and that is something I am looking for. thanks again!
p.s. while I was at Covenant my family and I got to eat in the dining hall and the food is amazing!
