Scots Go To Nationals
Our own beloved Scots are currently in Kansas City for Nationals.
The #25-ranked Covenant College men’s soccer team defeated Milligan College 3-0 on November 3 in the NAIA Region XII tournament. With this win, the Covenant Scots earned the first spot in the NAIA national tournament, to be held November 14-20 in Olathe, Kansas.
Covenant midfielder Jake Warren has been named to the NAIA Region XII All-Region team.
The Scots are 15-4-1 for the season, and won the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season championship before winning the Region XII championship. Covenant will take on MidAmerica Nazarene (KS) in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m. CST/8:30 p.m. EST.
For those of you who are on campus, the Scots game against MidAmerica Nazarene (KS) will be shown live on a big screen in Sanderson 215 at 8:30 p.m. tonight. If you can’t be in Kansas City, at least come and watch them on campus - help us cheer the Scots on.
