The Man

Sometimes I brag about my brother a little too much… sometimes not enough. My one and only older brother is named Wilhelmus Schaffers Codington. He’s always been called Wim for short. He was born in Knoxville, TN on September 26, 1982. There is a lot I could tell you about my brother… but I also know that a lot of the things that I could tell you wouldn’t mean much to people who didn’t know him or didn’t know how much he means to me.

The Man

Wim recently became a husband - June 3rd. His bride is named Libby Davis… It has been an incredible blessing to watch them in their marriage so far, and it has been a blessing having Libby as another sister (one more never hurt anything).

Of the many things that I could tell you, those were not the things that I want to specifically pass on… there are two words that summarize what my brother has been to me in the last few years… a ”godly example.” He has shown me what it means to be a brother to my younger brothers, to be an encouragement, to be a guide, to be a voice of advice when needed (especially when it came to girls), to be a pair of listening ears, to be an inspiration in my walk with the Father, and to just be an older brother. Not everyone gets that…
