Painting and Doctrine

My day has consisted of art class, studying for my doctrine test tomorrow, and painting a car port for four hours this afternoon… and now, I’m studying doctrine again. I’m studying the moral attributes of God - “faithfulness” particularly caught my attention.

God’s faithfulness is defined as “the utter reliability, firmness, and constancy of God’s character, commands, and promises; His determined steadfast loyalty toward His people and His covenant.”

A few encouraging verses about God’s faithfulness - Deuteronomy 7:9…

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

Hebrews 10:23…

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

  1. i agree; i think faithfulness in one of the most cherished qualities in any relationship. it is absolutely amazing that God is 100% faithful to His children when we have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. we can never thank Him enough for this divine loyalty, His amazing grace.x
