A fair amount of people periodically ask me how my mom is doing. I thought I would take a few minutes to give a little update on her condition, as well as thank all of you who so faithfully pray for her and my family.
My mom is doing well. For those of you who don’t know - she was diagnosed with a fairly aggressive and serious breast cancer during September 2003. She went through surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, reconstructive surgery, and a treatment called herceptin (sp?). Three long years of treatments, doctor’s appointments, and blessings - God is good.
It’s been over a year now since my mom had her last treatment. She is currently in remission, and counting every new day as a blessing from the Father. I would humbly ask you to continue thanking God for his goodness, as well as continue praying for her health. She still teaches five of the nine of us kids at home… going strong.

Hey! My name’s Sophy and I’ve been reading your blog(which is mucho exelente, by the way). I’m glad your Mom’s doing well, and I pray that God continues her healing for many more healthy years to come! And I think it’s so cool that she homeschooled you guys(I’m the middle of five, never been to “school”)! Plus it’s cool enough that there’s nine of you! Anywho, just wanted to drop by and say that I like your blog and I think your mom is cool.
