Homecoming Weekend

This past weekend was Homecoming at Covenant. My family was going to come up for the weekend but ended up not coming because my grandparents were out of town. But it was an awesome weekend - it was cool to see a lot of alumni faces who knew my parents or my older siblings. And besides that, it was just a fun weekend with the different activities and things going on.

Friday night, we had Faculty Follies at 8:00 p.m., followed by Jazz on the Overlook from 9:00-12:00. Faculty Follies was brought back this year after not having it for several years… it was fun to hear Chaplain Messner beatbox the national anthem, as well as watch various other faculty and professors immitate storks and tell jokes… good times.

Saturday, there were several other events that went on, including the cross country Mountain Top Classic races, the men’s soccer game, and Burning at the Stage in the evening. It was fun to just take a breather from school and enjoy campus life.
