Portrait of a Sister

Caroline Wilhelmina Codington… one of four of my sisters. I said a while ago that I would tell you of the many faces and portraits that make up my family. Well, here is another one… my youngest sister, Carrie.

 Carrie

Carrie was the first of all my brothers and sisters to be born outside the US. Two weeks after we moved to Sheffield, England in 1995, Carrie was born… Born at the end of July, she was like one of my birthday presents considering my birthday was a mere week later.

Carrie is the girly girl of the family. She carries a beautiful and vivid imagination. It’s no hard task for her to spend hours playing house with her dolls. She has a sweet and servant-hearted spirit, always quick to help my mom in the kitchen. And more often than not, the mail in my mailbox has her name in the top left corner. I could sit here and write the many good qualities that Carrie possesses… but I feel as if I wouldn’t be doing justice without also mentioning that she is the best (hands down) out of my five younger siblings at finding my buttons and pushing them. :) Needless to say, I wouldn’t trade her for anything… and Carrie, if you’re reading this… I love you.
