Colossians 1:9-14

So i haven’t written on here in almost a week and a half. Spring break was last week from March 3-11. I was home in Franklin with my family, which was such an awesome blessing and a good break from classes and the regular schedule. It was nice to actually sleep in and not have to worry about an alarm clock waking me up at 7:00 in the morning.

But yeah - this week and next week are exam and paper week for me. It’s been tough trying to stay on top of everything with studying and writing and homework. I have a Macroeconomics exam at 10:00 this morning…

But before that, I wanted to share a few verses that i’ve been reading the last few days from Colossians. Paul is speaking to the Colossians and encouraging them to listen to God’s will and live lives that are honoring to Him.

Colossians 1:9-14, “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
