Blown Away
Four more days until spring break… five more days until my sister gets married. What ever happened to those days when we all hung out and acted crazy? Whatever happened to the days when we would go buy a gallon of ice cream and three spoons and just go at it? What happened to the days when Jules would yell at me from downstairs and tell me to do my piano practice? What happened to the days when we chased after Skittles, her pet hamster, when it got loose? What happened to the days when we all rode the jet skiis at Smith Mountain Lake? Time flies by… and in less than a week, my sister won’t be Miss Codington anymore…
Me and Julie a couple of weeks ago… one of the last times we hung out as just brother and sister. Next time, it’ll be Mrs. Muckerman and Philip… it’s funny how time flies by and people change.

i know that feeling, friend! at times it feels like you are losing them but you’re really not…what you will learn and gain from this marriage will be invaluable to you down the road….soak in every minute leading up to the wedding, during, and after….they are moments you will always remember and treasure… =D

hey Philip, I’m sure things sre moving at mach speed for your sister’s wedding, and the changes that you’ve written about are imminent. Change is hard- even when it’s “good”- it forces us to adapt and change. And no, things won’t be as they have been…
But God never changes. His love for you cannot change. Secure for all eternity is your place in His Kingdom. His forgiveness will not flicker, not for an instant. His promises will forever stand, His favor rests on you forever. His delight in you is steadfast and sure. What comfort! Why would we be anything but a Christian? Hold on tight to your Savior, He is the Rock of our salvation!
